Established in 1979 by David Price, Price Express Transport began by specialising in the delivery of urgent freight and the transportation of computer equipment.

This sector required the use of tail-lift vehicles, and as a result, we have maintained a 100% tail-lift fleet ever since, ensuring safe, efficient handling of specialist and high-value goods.

In 1991, Price Transport became a founding shareholder member of the Palletforce network. While pallet distribution now forms a very small part of our overall operation, it enhances our ability to reach remote and offshore locations quickly and reliably.  

Following a change in ownership, the business expanded into the transportation of commercial catering equipment, working with many well-known industry brands. Today, we bring over 30 years of experience in this field, handling a full range of equipment including cooking appliances, warewashing systems, and refrigeration units. This expertise has also led to the specialist handling of electrical enclosures and ATM (cash machine) logistics.  

To support our partnerships with leading ATM suppliers and the banking sector, we have significantly developed our warehousing and fulfilment capabilities. We now provide a fully integrated 3PL logistics solution, where compliance, security, and reliability are paramount. This premium service is underpinned by advanced technology and delivered by a highly experienced team.
